Christmas Day

Mom, Nick and Joe came over for Christmas Brunch. Nora and Clara got to enjoy even more gifts to open!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve was a busy day! We went to the noon service at church. The girls were so cute dressed up. Then we headed over to The P's to open gifts. Clara and Nora really cleaned house!! Then all the family showed up for dinner. The best part was a surprise visit from Joe! We cooked up a plan to surprise everyone by his arrival. It made Christmas this year! The girls are all ready for church!

My how the family has grown over the years! This year included two new babies!

Christmas Celebration with The Lucius'!

Each year we get together with our dear friends, Heather and Joel and thier growing family. This year was by far the nosiest! Between Clara and Austin, who is 2, playing and Nora and Colin, who is 9 months, "talking" there was never a quiet moment! It was so much fun to keep our ornament exchange and dinner exchange going!

Baby Beau

The girl's cousin, Beau spent the day with us. Papa likes to joke that being the only boy cousin means years of playing dress up and pushing pink baby strollers. He could not be more right. Beau was at our house about five minutes and Clara had him surrounded by My Little Ponies. While getting dressed, Nora gave him a few swipes with a play make-up brush and he got lots of bounces in the bouncy seat!

Christmas musical!

Each year Clara's school puts on quite a holiday performance. All the children sing together, and then each class performs a couple of numbers. Nana came to watch our little singer. Next year, Nora will get to participate as well!

Clara had a little performance at her dance studio. She was very cute showing all of her moves! Papa and Gram got to see the little dancer!

We joined up with Jake and Mackenzie after Santa for some lunch at the mall!

Nora's First Steps!!

Nora has been practicing a lot of walking along furntiure and with her walker! This last Monday night she finally took her first few steps!!! We are very excited for our little-big girl's newest accomplishment!!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Last year, Papa and Gram got Clara her own tree for her room, with ornaments that were not breakable. The girls were so excited to decorate it...looks like Nora may need her own tree next year!

While Brian and the girls did the little tree, I deocorated our new tree. I had to make sure all of the special ornamens were up high...the bottom is a little bare this year!

Snow Much Fun!

We got a great snow for making a snowman! Last Christmas my mom got the girls a snowman kit, you just need to add snow! Clara was so excited to get out there in her boots and hat! Nora really wanted to go out too, but she is just a little bit to little right now! So proud!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a Thanksgiving feast at Lori's house. It was so good! Clara was really only interested in the dessert (chocolate pie, dessert and cake). Nora did try a little bit of the big turkey dinner, but really wanted her grapes and veggie booty!

Clara was very proud of the paper bag turkey she made at school! Looks like Granpa Charlie liked it also! The cousins, Nora (13 months), Clara (3 1/2), Devin (15) , Pyper (1 week), and Beau (3 1/2 months)

Cherry Chip Chop, if Clara were to name her. I guess three year olds are not good sources of girl names! Back to the books!

First Snow

6:30 AM...so excited to see SNOW!

A visit with Bob!

We took a ride out to Watkins for lunch at Aunt JoAnn, Uncle Ken and Tracy's. The plan was for the girls to take some pictures on Bob, a 35 year-old horse. Clara started screaming and was convinced Bob would eat her. After some coaxing and calming, she decided to get on him. Then her could walk a little and next thing we knew, she was having a blast! She did not want to get off. Nora was not so sure. She really did not want to sit on him, but was fine with giving him a couple of pats.

Happy Birthday Brian!!

Brian celebrated his 33rd birthday at Old Chicago's with me, the girls, Char, Dad, Autumn and Beau. Clara and I had made him a cake. We enjoyed when we got home. Clara was very proud of it!

More Halloween Fun!

The party was just the beginning. On Halloween, Clara had a parade at school. It ended in the youth room where the whole school sang fun Halloween and fall songs. Nora had her own baby party to attend, hosted by Kate and Eleanor Rice. Then the nighttime included trick-or-treating with our neighbor friends. What a fun day!! Thank goodness for the perfect fall weather!
