EIGHT IS GREAT!!

We started Clara's 8th birthday off with a Skate City Party!!  She invited school friends and it was a BLAST!  She even got her very own roller skates (party of the party package!!)  

She designed the cake all by herself!

Birthday Celebration #2 was the younger crowd.  Anna, AJ and Violet came over on Monday after school for a cupcake!  What a great group of kids!!

Birthday morning included presents (books and a Dizzy Dancer) and waffles and bacon!  Then Clara brought treats to school.  The girls and I went up to see the class sing to Clara!  That evening the family came over for potato soup and ice cream sundaes!  

So blessed to have this sweet girl in our lives!!  Hard to believe she is 8!!  

Spring Program!

Nora and Lila's school did a sweet spring program and art show last week in the evening.  It is my favorite!  They sing "WOW, Look What God Has Done!" each year and it is the cutest little song and all the kids get into it!  Nora's class were the Sharks and they sang all shark songs and Lila's class were the Goldfish and they sang The Goldfish Song.  The art show was also all sea themed!

Ski Day!!

We took the girls up skiing!!  Clara's second time, Nora and Lila's first.  They girls did lessons with our friends, The Wargins.  The dads skied, the moms hung out and the kids had a blast!  All around, great day!!!

SUPER Soccer Saturdays!

Ahhh, Spring Soccer has begun.  All of the girls are playing.  Clara and Nora have practice and games.  Lila does a cute little camp with her friends each Saturday.  This means I drive all over the Ranch, shuttling from one game to another and there is always some overlap, as Brian is coaching both Clara and Nora's teams.    

Last weekend Clara scored her first goal!  SO EXCITING!!!!  

Clara is an awesome Goal Keeper.  At the first game, a dad behind me, said "That goal keeper is fierce!"

Lila loves soccer and can't wait for next fall when Daddy can be her  coach!!  

Easter!

The bunny came!  Books, legos and dresses that included a matching doll dress, plus some candy made these baskets a hit!!  We went to church then to Papa and Gram's for a yummy dinner, more baskets and another egg hunt with cousins!!!  

It's all about Easter!

We started the Easter fun on Thursday with an egg dying party and egg hunt at my friend Marigny's house.  Super fun!  It was such a nice day, we even got to enjoy some time outside!  

Next day, we headed to see the Easter Bunny!  I love spring colors!  

Saturday, our friends, the Eggemeyers invited us over for a brunch and egg hunt.  In the four families, Clara is the oldest.  She was given the job of helping the kids with crafts and playing with them!  She earned $20!  The brunch was so fun!!
