Our weekend!

As usual, we were on the go, go, go!!  The weekend highlights...

We spent the Pirates Cove!  So much fun!  What a cute little water park!  We loved the lazy river, sand area and the kiddie area! 

We went to the Bronco's preseason game!  Fun, but we left early.  The girls loved the train, ice cream, Thunder the horse and the fireworks! 

On Sunday, we stopped by the Ram Fest at our rec center.  (Thanks Phams for the info!)  It was a fun event for CSU alumni!  The girls had fun in the bounce house, doing sand art, the cupcake and cookies and the park! 

Green Mountain Res.

Camping trip #5 and the last lake trip of the season.  Green Mountain is beautiful, but the water and nights are cold!! 

Highlights:

*Brian jumped off a cliff that was over 40 feet tall!  Crazy!

*Clara waterskiied behind the boat on kid skis!!  I can not even express what an amazing parent moment that was!!

*Nora drove the jet ski (with Brian on the back of it) but she was in control!!

*Lila decided to try riding on the boat and the jet ski and loved both! 

*My brother Lee, who I have not seen in years, came on this trip!  Very fun to hang out with him!

Lila's First Day!

Lila is going to school on Wednesdays and Fridays, so her first day was last Wednesday.  After seeing Clara and Nora have a first day, she was ready for her turn!!  She also had a great day!! 

Lila and her BFF, Presley.  They had no problem going to school since they could be together the whole time!

Nora's First Day of School!

Nora is officially in Pre-school! She goes Monday, Wednesday and Friday! She said she had a great first day!!  I love how this sweet girl knows how to pose!

Zoo time!

While Clara's away, the little girls need to play!  We spent a couple of hours at the zoo on Thursday. They loved it!

Bye bye baby tooth!

Clara's bottom tooth became loose the night before we left for Arkansas.  I thought for sure after 30 hours in the car, she would wiggle it right out, but nope!  It stayed in!  She lost it the morning of the second day of school!  So exciting!  So the tooth fairy had to come that night and all the excitement continued on the morning of the third day of school (nothing like being thrown back into a routine, where school starts a half hour earlier then last year and having so much happening!)  The tooth fairy was very generous...5 $1 gold coins and she also sprinkled pixie dust all over all the girls! 

Twinkle Toes!

All the girls started dance last week!  It was good to be back after a year!  Lila is in Kinderdance and Nora is in ballet and tap on Tuesday mornings!  Clara is taking Jazz/Pom after school on Tuesdays.  Yep, lots of time at the dance studio!  But it is worth it. 

First Day of First Grade!!

Wow!  Our little girls is growing up!  Clara went off to first grade last Tuesday.  How was it??  In her words, it was "FABULOUS!!"

Greyrocks II

You may be thinking we are crazy...and the answer is "Yes, we are!"  We headed out of town for the third straight weekend.  While things are piling up at home, I just can't help but take a moment and remember that life is about living and experiences and not about home projects and to-do lists!  (Not my natural tendency!!)  But Greyrocks is where the Lynch crew landed this weekend and it was not to disappoint!  Clara water skied off the boom of Joe's boat!  Then both Clara and Nora had fun on a Water Ski trainer.  Clara was giving the thumbs up sign to go faster.  She got up to 20 mph.  She is ready for the real thing! Nora was loving it also!  She even road it backwards!  Clara is so comfortable on the big jet ski.  She gunned it up to over 50 mph and nearly threw her Papa off!  She even got to drive one of the jet skis all by herself between Papa and Brian!

My little special camper...

The dogs love camping.  Lucy is like a little puppy out there.  This weekend, Linus over enjoyed.  He was loving all the dead things in the sand, the cow pies in the dirt and the raw hamburger juice that spilled in the camper.  This resulted in lots of doggie sickness on Saturday and Sunday.  After being checked by our lovely neighbor when we got home, he thought Linus needed an IV since he was so weak and sick and had not eaten or drank for quite a while.  Off to the doggie ER.  The vet diagnosed him with "camperitus"  So an overnight vet stay with lots of crazy bacteria and being watched all day Monday, he is almost good as new! 

Summer Squeeze!

Our last day of true summer before school started!  We spent time in the big sandbox at Red Tail Park with the Borie girls!  School is just around the corner!
