Lila's Baptism!

Lila was baptized at St. Andrew UMC this weekend. It was a great service and she did so well! When Dr. Harvey took her to baptize her she just looked up at him like she knew exactly what he was going to do! We celebrated after at our house with family and friends with lunch and cake. The big girls played and played with friends. It was a wonderful day!

She shoots, she scores!!

This is our thrid round of sports through the YMCA. We love it because it is only one hour a week and only lasts for 8 weeks, so we don't feel like it is consuming our life! So this fall, we decided to give basketball a go. Clara loves it! All the kids get a chance to shoot and this week Clara made it! It was very exciting since this is her first time. We were quite pround of her!

Riverbrook Porch Crawl!

To send summer off, our neighborhood hosted a Porch Crawl...so fun! Two or three families were put together up to host at one house. Each house had a theme of a place and the food, drink and an activity for the kids had to go with that theme. The entire group spent about 30 minutes at each house, so you had to eat and drink quickly and the kids did their activity and then we were off to the next stop, with six stops in all. The creativity was awesome and everyone had a really good time! The Caribbean
All of the kids...I think!

Some September Fun...

Lila is chillin with her peeps, Kara and Gracyn!
A couple of cuties at Austin's birthday party!

Getting so big and grown up!

Yes, those are Elmo panties over the Elmo jammies.

Everyone is all tucked in...from bottom to top: Pink Baby, Honey, Elmo, Clara and Nora.

Dad's Day at the Rockies Game!

Brian decided to try his luck and took Clara and Nora to the Rockies game on Labor Day. And Labor he did! The game was at one, which is when Miss Nora goes down for a nap, but the plan was to put her in the car and let her sleep. Of course she woke up upon entering downtown, only getting about a half hour. Anyone who knows a 23 month old, this is not enough! So he got them into the field (after letting Nora walk all by herself) and got them right into the Dip n Dot line. The plan was to settle in, eat sugary snacks and enjoy. Not so much. Nora was not happy that she was having a hard time scooping them and did not want help. Clara was enjoying hers just fine. So Brian decided to get a chips and cheese snack. Again. No impressing Miss Grumpy. Off to the playground. Again. No good. The girls wanted to be all over and Brian could not keep track, so he decided to head home. To top it off, on the way out, Nora had an exploding diaper (mind you she has not had one in over a year) and Brian had to strip her down, change her and take her to the car in only a diaper. All home in time to catch the last three innings on the TV and Nora enjoyed a two hour nap! But aren't the picutres just too cute?

Six Months...

and sitting pretty! Miss Lila can sit, as long as the boppy is behind her, as she still likes to toss herself back from excitement! She turned six months on Saturday. We took a ride to Dad and Char's to drop Nora and Clara off to spend the night. Lila had her dinner there and was such a mess we just tossed her in the sink!

Back to School!

The girls started back to school on Friday! This is Clara's fourth and last year at St. Andrew's Children's Leaning Center! She is in the Lions class and will be doing lots of fun things, including music, spanish and bible study! She is officically Pre-K! This is Nora's first year. She is in the Duck class and will be doing music and bible study also! We took both girls and drop off was a breeze! Clara was SO excited to get back to see her old friends and meet her new teachers. Nora had no problems. She sat right down and started to do a puzzle. Luckily she knows her teacher, Ms. Steph from summer play days!

Of course Lila needed a new outfit for the occasion!

I could barely get Clara to slow down to take this picture! She wanted to see her friends!

Nora loves puzzles!

Dancing Queens

Dance started this week and now Nora is old enough to go! Nora does a kinder dance class for a half hour. Right after, Clara does tap and ballet for an hour. Nora's class is not a parent tot class, so the kids go in without mommies. Nora was not having that! She wanted me to hold her the whole time. Thank goodness Nana came down, so she could sit wtih Clara and Lila while I learned some new dance moves! Clara went right in without any problems and danced her little heart away! I am sure Nora will get better. Clara did the same thing and before too long, it was no big deal!
