For our four-legged family member's 9th birthday, we fried up a bacon-chedder angus burger...

We spent the day at the Stock Show while Brian's parents were in town last week!  Such a fun day!  The girls loved petting, feeding and brushing goats, pigs, sheep and even a llama! 

Every year we get sucked into the $6 pony ride, but how can one say no to these happy faces!  Lila rode this year and loved it too!!  I love these little cowgirls!!!

COLOR!!!!

For my anniversary gift, Brian did not get me jewelry, but instead arranged for our friend and expert painter, Troy to come to our house and paint our main living space, stairwell and upstairs hall.  All I can say is, it was the best gift!  If you had ever been to our old house, you know I love paint and living with all white walls was hard.  Troy did a great job and I love the colors!

We love some Chuck E. Cheese, well, maybe three-fifths of us! We celebrated our friends, Anna's third birthday there last weekend and fun was had by all!!

I had to post this pic of the bday girl...see the three shirt?  I made it all by myself!  All the other bday shirts have been sewn by Lyndi, but she was out of town, so with the help of Char doing the bobbin, I sewed this on her machine!  I was quite proud!! 

Happy New Year!!

We had a very fun New Year's Eve!  We had celebrated with our friends, the Eggemeyers and the Dutchers!  We had dinner and cupcakes and then rang in the new year around 8:00 with sparkling cider and blowers!  Everyone had a blast!  Then it was time for everyone to head to bed!  Our friends left, the girls went to bed and Brian and I settled on the couch.  I was asleep in about 14 seconds.  I woke up just after they counted down on the TV and Brian was snoring away...so much for being awake at midnight!
