Brian and I have had a long stanidng tradition of going to Cheyenne Frontier Days with our good friend Josh, since 2000. Some years, it has been just the three of us and other years, we have had others join us. We always buy the cheapest seats to the rodeo. We enjoy the beer, high-fat foods (spiral spuds with cheese...yum!), beef jerkey, bull riding and our favorite, the Wild Horse Race at the end. We each buy a new pin for our hat, Brian and Josh get the official pin for the year and I get something fun to go in my collection. This is our nineth year and in the past, we have dropped Clara off at my mom's house. Since Nora is attached, this year we decided to bring both girls! What fun! So Josh and his wife Lindsay flew in from CA and we headed to Cheyenne. We enjoyed the day and then stayed the night in Ft. Collins. It was great fun to be back in our old stomping grounds. Gotta say, I never imagined I would be walking around Old Town with my two little ones in tow! On Sunday we got up, drove around campus a bit and headed to Longmont to see my mom...thanks mom for a great lunch!!

Take me out to the ballgame!
Brian and Clara have been to several Rockies games this season. They have quite a routine. Clara loves to go and Brian has found quite the ball game buddy! Hopefully next summer Nora will join in the fun!

The Lynches go camping!
I know, call us CRAZY! Honestly, who takes a three year old and nine month old camping? But we did it. We joined my family at Green Mountain Reservoir. It is 20 miles north of Silverthorne (I would have rather done some shopping at the outlets, but oh well) It actually was a lot of fun. Clara just had the best time and Nora seemed to enjoy it too. Some highlights:
- Clara slept in the tent the first night...okay, so only half the night. She got cold and Brian had to bring her into the RV with me. Thank God for the P's RV!!
- Clara loved riding the jet ski and blowing the whistle.
- Nora had her very first boat ride. She loved it! All smiles!
- Clara was pulled behind the boat on one of those tubes with her daddy...so fun!
- We had smores around the campfire!
Thanks P's for a fun weekend!!
Summer fun!

BBQ and Backyard Fun!
Happy Fourth of July!
We had a very busy Fourth of July! We started the celebration on Friday morning by particiapating in a parade with the Andersons and Jacobsons at the Anderson's neighborhood. We had a great lunch at Leigh, Dave, Lauren and Owen's house. We topped the morning off with some sprikler fun and a visit to see a firetruck. Then we came home, rested and were off to the Rockies game. It was so LONG and Clara insisted on seeing the fireworks. She dozed and as soon as they came on, she freaked. We had to leave immediately. Nora, of course, was belly laughing at the loud sounds and explosions...go figure! The next day we had a fun BBQ. All the kids played and played and played! It was fun!
