Sunday Park Fun!

Things get so busy in our house, that we are really trying to do something fun as a family each weekend. This weekend, we had a picnic at the park after church. Clara and Nora had fun on the swings and the slides. Lila hung in the baby bjorn and watched her sisters!

Bath time!

With so much fun going on all day, these girls need a nightly bath! Lila goes first in the baby tub. Then the big girls have been having fun in my bath!

I just don't know if it gets sweeter then this! Clara is the frog, Nora is the bunny. They really are best buds!

Dad's Day at the Zoo!

Brian took the "big" girls to the zoo with fellow dad of three girls, Tom, our neighbor across the street (both babies stayed home). They all loaded in the mini-van for a fun filled day! They had quite the time seeing animals, riding the train, riding the merry-go-round, having lunch, eating ice cream and watching a squirrel eat chips! It was a nice day to be home to hold Lila without interruption!
The cheeta came right up to the window!

Ahh...the bumbo chair!

Nora's Curls: Mystery Solved!

I love Nora's little curls in the back of her hair. They just add to her spunky personality! If there was any question where they come from, it is told right here is a picture of my dad, her Papa at about the same age. I have a feeling those curls weren't the only Bartuska trait handed down...talk about one stubborn child who is always right!

Fathers Day Part I

We had a great Father's Day! Brian wanted to go to a park for lunch with the kids. We headed to Belleview Park. What a great time! We started with a picnic and then rode the train, visited the petting zoo and then played in the little wading stream. The girls loved the train. The petting zoo was interesting. Clara was a bit leary at first, but got very very excited once she realized she got to pet a pony! After that, Clara wanted to pet everything, goats, cows, sheep and pigs. Nora kept saying "NO" when asked if she wanted to pet an animal. Once Nora realized Clara was petting lots of animals, she decided to give it a try. She was very cute! We ended to park time with some water play...what a fun day! Happy Father's Day to such a great Dad! My girls are so lucky to have a Dad who loves them so much!

Lila's first train ride!

Fathers Day Part II

After our fun day at the park, we headed to Aurora to see Pops and Joe. Joe was in town for Nick's 30th birthday camping trip. We decided to sit this one out. We were supposed to meet for dinner, but after some trailer problems coming back, plans were changed. We went to Old C's for dinner and then over to The P's. The girls had a great time playing with everyone!

The girls already bossing Beau around!

The "Kids" (Billy was out to dinner with his girls)

Our Beautiful Ballerina

After a fun year of dance it was time for the recital! This is where I should give a big thanks to Brian for coming home each Tuesday to watch Nora while I was pregnant and then both Nora and Lila, once she came along so I could take Clara to dance. Thanks babe!! Each class performs a dance and Clara's class danced to "It's A Small World." She got all dressed up and ready for her big show! We dropped her off backstage and then took our seats. Her class was 6th out of 22! Quite the crowd at the high school auditorium. When she came on, I was so proud. She danced!! I can't even imagine how nervous the kids must feel on that stage, but she did a great job! We are very proud of you Clara!!
Showing us her moves!

Will Clara have the Bartuska baseball gene?

If you know the Bartuska side of the family, then it is no surprise that Clara has started t-ball and that Gram, Papa and Uncle Nick came out for the first game. The 3 - 4 age league is hilarious! Everyone lines up to bat and then the other team hangs out around the pitchers mound to catch the balls. No one gets out, so no matter if the runner or base is tageed, everyone gets on base and gets to score. I loved the one parent who was keeping score...maybe I could give a quick lesson in addition to figure out that one! Clara's at-bat was great! She ran with the bat and then when told to drop the bat, she ran back to put it down by the tee and then ran to the base. As Char said, no one probably ever told her what to do with the bat! How was she supposed to know!

Guess who wants to play!

Corn on the cob

Nora tried her first corn on the cob. It was a big "No" and gave it over to Clara, who LOVES corn on the cob. I think she really wanted to like it...maybe next time! After the corn trial, Nora needed to soak in a solution for a bit of a diaper rash. Of course, her big sister wanted to support her! Nora soaked in one side of the sink, while Clara soaked in the other...oh what the neighbors must think, seeing these two little blonde girls in the kitchen sink!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'

Lila is a rollin'! Okay, so one time, but still she managed to roll from back to front!

And it must have worn her out!

Do-Do-Do-Do-DORA!

Yesterday, we went to see Dora the Explorer Live with the Borie Bunch! It was quite the show. Clara, Nora and Mackenzie loved it! There was plenty of singing, dancing and spanish. I personally kept looking at my watch, however, I think the girls would go everyday! A picture on the bridge.
Waiting for the show to begin!

Shame, shame! I took a quick picture at the end even though it was a big no-no, but how could I resist a picture for the scrapbook!

Wow, we had a lot of fun!

Lila is Three Months!

Hard to believe, but she is three months old! We headed to JCPenney's to take pictures. I even got one of all three girls! Lila is such a sweet little baby. She is full of smiles and coos, loved to be talked to and is over all a very happy baby! She is very easy, patient baby who just goes with the flow. She is only getting up one time at night for a very very quick feeding and then goes right back down. Clara and Nora still think she is great! Nora calls her "Di-di" and loves to kiss her. Clara is very excited to talk to her and make her smile. She also loves to have Lila hold her fingers. We just cannot imagine life without this little angel! We love you Lila!

The Bouncy is Back!

For everyone that is! I brought the old bouncy chair out, the one that all of the Lynch babies have bounced in. I guess it gave off that warm fuzzy feeling, because the older girls needed their turn again! Clara looks just so grown up sitting in the silly little chair with her legs crossed over! I love it!
