Nora as "Lilac Tan"

Play #4 for Nora!!  She is our little star!!  She played Lilac Tan in "Harriet Patter and the Sorcerer's Soda", a spin off of Harry Potter!  As always, she did great!  She knew her lines and had great projection!  We are so proud of her!!!

Slumber Party

Lila wanted a sleep over to celebrate her birthday this year.  Yep, no big party with 25 kids...just a few of her little friends from school.  Luckily her good friends are kids of my very good friends, so it was no problem for them to spend the night.  Four friends plus my three and we were set with a party!   Gram came over to help (and even spent the night...a god send!)  Amy also stayed to help!

We were very busy!  We decorated men's t-shirts with fabric markers for nightgowns.  Then we had pizza and cupcakes and then played Pin the Tail on the Donkey (and everyone won a stuffed animal to snuggle).  We quickly settled in the watch a movie and by 10:30 they were all out!  We woke up in the morning for donuts and opening gifts.  Party was super easy!!

Lila is 5!!!

Lila turned five March 5th! We started the morning off with presents!  Lila got the traditional 5 year old gift!  Her own personalized jewelry box!  She had a great day at school and then we met family at 5 Guys for dinner!  We took up almost the whole restaurant!

Happy Birthday to my sweet, spunky, fun little Lila!!  We love you so much!!!!

Mexico!!

Ahh, Mexico!  How I love thee!  My baby brother Joe proposed to an amazing gal he met several years ago while he and was on a family vacation to Mexico.  She was also on a family vacation and they met at the resort bar.   It only made sense that they get married at the same resort with 53 of their friends and family!  We decided to not take the girls to the vacation wedding, but instead flew Brian's mom and dad out to watch the girls for the week!  Good choice!   The wedding was perfect, the vacation relaxing and fun.  We missed the girls like crazy, but was thankful I was only responsible for feeding and sunscreening myself for a whole week!

I really can't believe how few pictures I took.  There are hundreds taken by everyone on trip and the professional by the wedding photographer!

The resort has a Discotheque called Jaguar.  Yep, Brian had to climb on it.

Nap zone

Rehearsal...we had to practice our "Wobble" dance for the wedding. Thank God I have not seen video from that night!

The big day!  We took a shuttle to the wedding spot.  The groom and his peeps got to roll over in this fancy golf cart!   The setting could not be more perfect and what a great couple!  Perfect!!

The fun continued for a few more days...Jay even did Karaoke!

The day after the wedding, Holly and Joe hired a private catamaran for a fun cruise and snorkel.  Brian I stayed on the boat, but the water was beautiful!

Last night!  What a great trip!!
