Lynch Visit

Brian's parents came to town last week and we kept them busy!  We have a crazy busy schedule this year...here is a run down:

Monday:  School for everyone and soccer practice for Clara
Tuesday:  School for Clara, dance for Nora and Lila
Wednesday:  School for everyone and swim for everyone after school
Thursday:  School for Clara, Storytime or MOPS for Nora and Lila, soccer practice for Nora and Children's Music Academy for Clara
Friday: School for everyone, soccer practice for Clara
Saturday:  Soccer for everyone

I feel my head spinning just typing it.  We also have homework in there as well.  Brian's parents came into town on Monday night and left Sunday morning.  They were troopers and kept up the busy pace!

Lollipop Park

We have never been to Lollipop park without being there for a birthday party!   I bought a groupon last fall and it was about it expire, so we decided to spend a couple of hours there with Brian'a parents.  The girls loved it until Clara bonked heads with Lila in the jump castle and got a bloody nose, so that ended that party!

GOALIE!!

This year Clara's team has a goalkeeper and Clara had her turn on Saturday!  Gram, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa came to cheer her on!  She did a great job!!   So proud of her!

The Little Soccer Player

We signed Lila up for a fun U4 soccer camp.  Instead of games, they are in small groups playing games and learning how to play soccer!  So cute!!!

Fall Soccer

Fall soccer is on!  Nora is playing with quite a few of her preschool friends this year!  Brian is the assistant coach.  She even scored a couple of goals!!  (One in the other team's goal, but who is really counting!)  At the first game they picked their team name...they are the Rainbow Butterfly Polar Bears!  Now that is a chant!

Clara is on the same team as last spring, the Pink Dolphin, with Coach Daddy.  She is really doing a great job!

Organization REDO!

A thank you to Pinterest for the inspiration and to my friend, Michele, for doing it first and figuring out all the measurments, I have a whole new system in the laundry room for shoes and backpacks, plus I now have a way to keep track of everyone's business!  The old hooks and bins just weren't working (shoes all over the floor and hooks too high) so this is what I have now!!  All for under $100!!!!!

Each girl has a 16 x 20 frame ($10) with a monthly and weekly calendar, plus a clip for paper work or homework to go to back to school, plus a cute pic from the first day of school.

The shoe bins are IKEA!  GENIUS!  They are thin (7 inches!!)  and holds a ton of kids shoes!  Each girl has one under their backpack (I also bought one for Brian and I)  3 for $40

Backpack hooks...could not resist!!

Labor Day

We wanted to sneak one more camping trip in with the Eggemeyer family.  We decided to give the Jellystone  at Larkspur and try!  Close and fun!   Clara had soccer practice Friday night, so Brian took the pop-up down during the day to set up camp and then we all got there around 8!  We got up in the morning, checked a couple things out, said hello to Yogi and then we headed to Belleview Park to see Papa for his birthday!  Fun!

After having a blast at the park, we headed back to Jellystone (again, close and convenient!!)  The girls swam in the not so heated pool and we enjoyed collecting acorns and a yummy dinner!   The girls got to dance with Yogi and then watched a movie!

Sunday was a fun filled Yogi day!  We did a rocket craft, where the kids got to launch the rockets and then later made Pinwheels.  In the afternoon, we got to hike to the Tepee Village where goats were herded in for ice cream cone snacks and Oat Brush leaves.  The kids loved it!!  Another fun evening of dinner and acorn collecting and a movie wore these kids out!

We all got up Monday morning ready to head home and say good-bye to Yogi!  Till next year!!
