Santa Came!

Looks like these girls have been good.....

The craziness!

Our fun breakfast!

We did a whole lot of nothing Christmas Day!  The girls asked us to open a million things!  We had breakfast, played and played and then had a yummy dinner!  It was the perfect Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve!  It is the day all the crazy is over and time to start to enjoy!  The girls woke up that morning with a note for the elves.  The note said that they were so sweet to the elves this season that Santa said they could hug the elves goodbye before they left with Santa that night.  They were over the moon!  It was funny...they were nervous at first!  They were so careful and gentle with them.  It was so sweet.  Then we left our cookies out and reindeer food and then off to church!

After church, we headed to Gram and Pops!  Santa stopped in shortly after we got there!  How exciting!!  The kids loved seeing him and each got a fun game to open.  Then we had an awesome dinner....Mexican food!  Perfect for our group.   After dinner was time for presents.  It was CHAOS and I loved it!!  The girls were so spoiled by so many wonderful things!  I am so truly blessed!

The "kids"

Nora got a wheelchair for Kaya!

McKenna!!!!  She sold out in October.  Gram had purchased her in July...Clara was convinced she would not be getting this highly sought after doll....the look on her face and the squeal were priceless!

Lila's "baby-o-carrier" for Bitty!

Brian could hardly contain his excitement over the Turkey roaster!  Since we are the official  Thanksgiving hosts, Grandma and Grandpa gave us one of our own, since we have been borrowing theirs!   We  also got a TV for our bedroom since the one we have is from college and is so old it can only hook up a VCR!

Cookies for Santa!

Brian went to the game on the 23rd, so the girls and I invited our friends Violet and her mommy Amy over to make cookies for Santa.  Super fun and super messy, but Santa loved his treats!!

Let Christmas Begin!

The first day of break, the girls and I headed out to see my aunt and cousin.  The girls opened fun gifts and had a great time playing!!  We had a nice visit!

The newly engaged couple rode out also!

Clara's Party!

Clara's class had a fun party!  I helped with the reindeer food station!  Nora and Lila were able to come.  They have made a friend in Clara's class and were excited to hang out with her and their sister!

Holiday Decor

Why do this post?  So next year, I can look back and remember how I set my stuff up!

Clara's CMA Recital

Clara has been participating in Children's Music Academy for two and half years.  Last Saturday was her first recital!  Her and her class showed off all of their hard work!  The students played several songs together, sang and even played two solos!  Great job Clara!!

Preschool Christmas Program

Each year, our preschool does a Christmas program.  It is probably one of my favorite things we do in December.  There is nothing more precious then seeing children sing their little hearts out on stage.  Nora and Lila were SO excited and had been practicing for weeks.  They both did such a great job!  This was Nora's last year and her class did the hand bells.    We were super proud of both of them!!

Disney On Ice

Clara is in Brownies and we were offered a great price on Disney on Ice tickets!  The show was a 7 pm on a Friday, so I jumped at the chance and decided to get tickets.  Clara's BFF from school is also in Brownies, so we thought it would be a great girls night out!  We had dinner at Chili's and rode the train.  All was fine until about half way through the show, Lila fell asleep.  Then on the train ride home Nora fell asleep and my friend's four year old also fell asleep...two mommies, three sleeping kids...I just kept thinking we were never going to make it off the train.  Luckily, Lila woke just enough to walk to the car.  It was fun, just a late night! Maybe I should catch the matinee next time!

My only pic...I am getting so bad a remembering to take them!!

Little Ballerinas!

Nora and Lila performed in a Progress Dance Performance at their dance classes this month!  I LOVE the moms who I am there with, one hour for Lila and then I am there another hour with Nora and in both groups the moms are just wonderful!  We are all on Pinterest so we spent a few weeks making shirts and tutus for the girls so they would coordinate.  They all came out so darn cute!!  The girls did such a good job dancing!  Love...

Choddle and Charidy

As named and spelled by the girls, we now have two elfs, a boy and a girl!  The girls are loving them and they race all around the house looking for them each morning!  Here are a few of the scenarios we have found them in!
