Lil' Pumpkins

After driving an hour up to Anderson farms on Sunday, getting out of the car and into a HUGE line and realizing we were going to wait over an hour just to buy tickets, we decided to bail and go to our old fav, St. Luke's church about five minutes from our house.  We know next year to buy and print the tickets early as well as get there right when they open! Oh well, we were able to buy a lot of pumpkins for what we would have spent on admission and it all helps the Youth program!

Fall Break Fun!

This past summer, we acquired quite a membership collection.  I guess when you are a party of five, it is really just worth it to get the memberships, so for our fall break, we used our memberships and had a great time!!  Monday:  Butterfly Pavilion!  We had a friend, Zoe join us and everyone had a great time and had butterflies land on them!

Thursday, we hit up the Museum of Nature and Science with friends, Violet, Anna and AJ!

Friday was Zoo day!  Best weather with Anna and AJ!  Super fun again!

Nora is FIVE!!!!!

Our sweet little Nora turned 5 on 10.11.12!!!  Hard to believe!  We really celebrated!!  First order of business:  open presents right away!!   We got her a jewelry box and the sisters got her a dog from the American Girl store she has been longing for!  From there, we went to MOPS and then home for a special lunch date with Daddy!  Then she was off to soccer practice!  Busy little 5 year old!

She would not put "Pepper" down!
That evening, we met up with the fam for dinner at Red Robin!  Nora loved the singing and the ice cream sundae and the presents! Thanks to all the family far who also called and sent cards and gifts!  Nora loved it!

Sunday was the big bash with school, dance and old friends!  Monkey Bizness with a monkey theme for this little monkey lover!  Could not have been more perfect!!

This is Carter...they were born on the exact same day.  We went to his party on Saturday.  On the way  to his party, Nora declared she was going to marry Carter.  They really had fun together...hmmm...you just never know!   Good thing we really like his parents!!!

I did not make the cupcakes, but did make the little decorations on top!

This and That - October

I walked Race for the Cure with Laura (middle) and a large group of women in honor of my friend Tracey (right) who is fighting  cancer,  for the second time.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago and beat it.  She found out recently that the cancer is back.  Prayers for her and her family.

Brian and I went to a wedding for a friend from high school, Wendy.  Love my new dress!!

80's day at school...awesome!

Lila finished up her Saturday soccer camp!   Not sure what she liked more, the soccer games or the sucker at the end!

That tiny little person to the left is Clara playing goalie in the rain.  The reason she is so far away is because the girls and I cheered her on from the car.  It was pouring and freezing!  What a great team player she is!!

Father Daughter Dance

Clara's school had a father daughter dance last Friday night, complete with pictures and a horse carriage ride.  So sweet!  Brian ran to get flowers and of course Kings has Father-Daughter Dance corsages (brilliant!)  She was so excited to wear a flower as a bracelet!  So sweet, they both had a great time!

Daddy Days!

Last year, (before Manning era), Brian could not sell his two tickets to the Broncos game, so he decided to take Clara. Of course, the other two wanted a turn, and so it happened!  Now this year, they all wanted to go.  We have tickets to two preseason games, so Clara and Nora got to go to those.  Not to leave her out, Lila got a special day at the Rockies/Cubs game.  The Rockies is actually more fun for the kiddos as they have a playground, you can meet Dinger and there is a whole lot less bad language!  Next year they girls will have Daddy dates at the Rockies games!

Some Mama time!

Clara had school off last Monday!  Her sisters had school, so we got to spend some time together, just the two of us!  She picked the Butterfly Pavilion.  It was so much fun to be one on one with her!

This is actually a moth...crazy!

The same week, Lila had a date with Daddy while Clara was at school.  Gave me some time alone with just Nora.  She choose Wildlife Experience!  Much needed one on one time with this little love (she asks for it sometimes!)

Browning Bridging

Clara joined a Daisies group (kindie and first grade girl scouts) last year and this year they got to bridge to the Brownies!  So cute!  You can see she crosses the bridge in her blue Daisies vest and then gets her new brown Brownies vest!
