Dance, Dance, Dance!

This past weekend, the girls had their dance recitals!!  They have been working very hard in class to get ready!!  They all did such a great job!!  We are very proud!!!  The shows were all day.  Lila and Nora were in the first recital (that was an hour long) and then we had a break and then Clara's was in the afternoon (a two hour show!!)  Long day, but so much fun!!

Backstage...waiting!!

My dancing queens!!!

School's Out!

The school ended with both excitement and sadness.  We had such amazing, caring teachers!  It was hard to say goodbye!!

Nora and Lila had their last day!  We love our CLC!

Lila and Pres...BFFs
Clara's class had a party on Monday afternoon, complete with songs, cake and a very heartfelt movie, with pictures from the year!  Clara really had the best teacher we could have asked for!!

The next day, the entire first grade had a fun party at Red Tail park!  The kids played, had face painting and lunch!

Last day of school...with Mrs. O!!!

End of school means fun nights!  We celebrated with Yogurtini!!!

So Long Soccer Season!

The soccer season ended and I would say it was a success!  Brian LOVED coaching Clara's team!  It was quite the investment of time and energy, but was really a great experience for him!  He also coached Nora and Lila's team and enjoyed it as well, it just was not as involved!
Clara really came along way!!

We had a fun party at Dad Clark Park!  Brian said something sweet about each girl and then gave out trophies!

The last game for Nora and Lila was rained out. We were planning on handing out medals and cupcakes.  That evening we already had plans for dinner at the Eggemeyers.  Anna was on the team and Andy, her dad, was the co-coach, so we just had our party there!  We were missing the three boys they played with, but the girls never noticed!

Even Clara and AJ got medals for being such good supporters!!!

No More Training Wheels!!!

Last year, we tried no training wheels on Clara's bike and she just didn't quite love it (I don't blame her...falling is scary!!)  So we put them back on.  She really wanted to try it again this spring, so we took her back out and she picked it up so easily!!  Another year was the trick!!  She is so proud of herself and so are we!!!

Nora and Lila also love to ride!  Nora is so good on her bike, she says she is ready to ride without training wheels...we will see!  Lila's favorite is her pink car!  She love to drive all around!

I love this picture!  Such sweet memories!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I started celebrating Mother's Day on Saturday with a spa afternoon (massage and pedi) and then a fun date night with Brian!  It was very relaxing!  Mother's Day started off early with breakfast in bed from Brian and the girls, some wonderful handmade cards, flowers and new PJ's.  Then were were off!  Clara sang in both services at church so we had to be there early.  From church we headed to swim lessons (where Clara earned a ribbon!!) From lessons, we met up with Papa, Gram, Aut and her crew and Uncle Joe for some at Belleview Park for some relaxing!  I finished the day tutoring since finals are this week.  I am so blessed to have my sweet girls!!!

Clara and Nora's new found swing fun!

Our little Senorita!

Nora's class takes Spanish once a week at CLC and this year they did a cute presentation to celebrate Cinco De Mayo!  It was so cute!!!  They made the hats in school and decorated did the embellishing at home.  After a $20 Michael's trip, we had one fancy hat! I only have one picture because I had two cameras with me and BOTH had dead  batteries (luckily one took this picture before it died.)  Then I pulled out the camcorder and it was full...gotta love those moments!  I was able to delete some off the camcorder and record a few minutes...whew!

Disney Cruise - Going home!

Friday morning, luckily we had the latest breakfast assignment, so we didn't have to be up at the crack!  We had breakfast, then took a few last pictures and headed to the airport for a long day of travel!  We had time in the airport and even a layover and the girls were great travelers!  The cruise was wonderful, not nearly long enough!  It was so great we actually booked a future one for Fall of 2013 (the best part is you get a great deal if you book on the ship, so we took advantage!!)

Disney Cruise - Day at Sea

The fourth day of the cruise is at sea.  I love this day...fun to just hang on the boat and enjoy what it has to offer!  There was a Princess Gathering in the morning, so the girls dressed in their favorite princess's dress and away we went to get in line!  Clara is dressed in Princess Aurora, Nora is in Rapunzel and Lila is in Cinderella!
I love this picture!  The girls are looking out a porthole window at the ocean!

Peter Pan was going along the line saying hello to all the kiddos!

Princess Aurora!

So sweet!!!!

Cinderella!

Princess Tiana!  She was extra sweet!  We had met all of the princesses the first day and she remembered the girls!

Snow White!

Belle!

After meeting royalty, we got in our suits!  The girls loved the hot tub, pool and slide!!!

Lila was two inches too short to go on the big slide, so her and Daddy created a good substitute slide!

After swimming, we headed in to get ready for our next fun event!  On the way, we stopped to get a picture with Goofy and his son, Max and of course an ice cream cone!!

We got tickets to attend tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter!  They did  a lesson on tea!  It was so fun!  After the performance, we got to take pictures.  Most people left, but our girls wanted to finish their "tea" and we were lucky enough to have the Mad Hatter join them!!  Alice came over to join in the fun as well!!

After the tea party, we headed to the last show and then to dinner!  This crew was not too happy that it was our last night!!!

Saying goodbye to Mickey!

This is precious...Lila had to show Minnie that she had on Minnie flip flops!

Goodbye Minnie...sniff sniff!
