Happy St. Pat's Day!

No leprechauns caught this year, but they did make a huge mess and left donuts and lucky charms for breakfast and gold coins in the traps!  Those little pesky things!!

Nora's Acting Debut!

Nora's performed in her first play, Aladdin, through Kids Stage at our rec center!  She loved it!  It was an 8 week class and at the end, the kids perform the play!  Nora was Abdul, a guard.  She insisted that she was a girl guard, so we changed her name to Abdula.  So funny!  She also insisted on having a beautiful dress.  Not sure this is what the teacher had in mind, but she didn't seem to care! The kids did a great job and we had lots of friends and family come to support her!  Can't wait for the summer performance!!!

Lila's Birthday...Part 2!!

Our big girl!  Four!  It is hard to believe....it seems impossible that she is already four, yet, it is hard to remember life before having her!  We woke up to birthday presents!   Lila was really wanted Caroline, from American Girl, so she asked for birthday money.  We got her Caroline's cow to go with her upcoming purchase!

That evening we met up with the family at Red Robin!  Lots of spending cash and an awesome mirror for Lila's "fashioners club"  This is a club where you have to be on the list and you hang in her closet and dress up.  So funny!  Now the girls have a mirror to see just how great they look!!

We ended the week with her big purchase!  Her first AG doll, Caroline!  So sweet!!

Happy Birthday to Lila!!!! Part 1

We kicked off Lila's fourth birthday with a party at Chuck E. Cheese.  All my kids get one and only one party and this crazy place, so Lila's turn was this year!  She picked Strawberry Shortcake for her party theme!  So cute!

Lila and Mia...so sweet!

Lila stepped into the ticket blaster...she did not look so sure.  After about 10  seconds, she started to cry.  Out she went!

Ticket blaster was not on this party girls agenda!

Lila and Chuck!

Happy Birthday to you!!

After the party fun, we headed home to open our gifts!

March Tidbits

Yeah March!  Don't be alarmed...I am posting about March in March!  Wow!

**Clara's school had Mom's and Muffins before school.  So nice to have a date with my oldest daughter!

Sleep over central!!  The first weekend in March, Nora and Clara were invited over to spend the night at their BFF's houses. Clara was off to Zoe's and Nora was off to Reagan's!  The evening could not get here fast enough for these kids!    We had dinner plans with a group of friends, so we got one sitter for the bunch.  All the kids came over to Violet's house dressed in jammies and ready for their party!  So cute!  Lila was asleep when we picked her up and was quite mad in the morning when she woke up in her own bed and not on Violet's floor!

I got to chaperone these cuties on the 2nd grade field trip to the museum!  Yeah!

Oh, February....

Okay, really, why does time have to fly SO fast?  I guess I will give the February highlights, even though I can barely remember what happened....these are in really no particular order!

*The first week of February, Brian's mom and dad came out to visit.  I have zero pictures from the trip.  So bad about that right now...

**My girls love to be creative! Nora and Lila took a box and make it into a "couch"  complete with toss pillows!  Clara asked Santa for knitting needles for Christmas!  We took a lesson at a sweet little store called A Knitters Peace in Littleton.  I used to teach with the owner.  She opened the shop after she retired.  We both really liked it!

**Nora and Lila still are taking dance on Tuesday mornings.  Lila dances for an hour and then Nora dances the following hour.  I spend two hours there and the time goes so fast.  God has blessed me with the most amazing women to spend this time with.   Having these friendships has nourished my soul this year when I really needed it the most.  I am so blessed.  My girls are too!

**Our sweet Clara is really growing up.  She asked for a desk in her room.  She wanted a place to write, read and draw.  While Grandma and Grandpwere in town we made a trip to Ikea to pick one out.  It really is just perfect for her!

**Nora started CMA!  Wow!  This girl LOVES it!  She can hardly wait for the next week.  Nora is my little artsy one for sure.  She is also in KidStage, a drama class at our rec center.  She loves it as well!  Her preformance will be very soon!  Can't wait to see how she does on stage!

**A fun night out in February!  We headed to the Grizzly Rose!  We were invited by our good friends Dawn and Brian and had a blast!!  Brian even rode the bull, twice!  (I may have also, but luckily Brian does not blog, so you will never see it!!)

**Valentines Day!  Wow, when did Valentine's Day become the official candy day?  In the morning, we joined up with the Eggemeyers for storytime and then lunch at Freddy's!  Then we were off the Clara's party at school!  They got to wear jammies to school for a read a thon, so they were very excited for all the fun to be had!  After school, we headed to the American Girl store.  I told the girls they could all pick out a little something.  Clara had also saved up her money to buy a new doll.  She was over the moon!
