Egg Hunt

Each year our neighbors host an egg hunt. This year was so much fun to watch since the kids are a bit older and really get it! Clara was off and running to gather eggs and Nora liked putting them in the basket, despite the freezing weather. Lila hung out inside the house, where it was nice and toasty. She stayed in her seat, next to her new friend, Gracyn. They even did some "chatting!"

The newest soccer star?

Clara played her first team sport this weekend....soccer. She is on a team with three and four year olds....hilarious! It was freezing, as it is in April in Colorado, but she was a pretty good sport. She wanted Brian on the field with her, so he got a little play time as well! She wasn't the only one...lots of parents were on the field, including our friend Kevin, whose daughter Mackenzie wouldn't be put down!
Pre-game practice!

Nora really wanted on the field!

Opening Day!

Just because we have a five week old baby and two other kids, under the age of four, does not mean we do not continue with the family tradition of opening day! We just do it with the help of Papa and Gram. This is Clara's fourth, Nora's second and Lila's first Opening Day!

What is a Rockies game without Dippin' Dots?

One Month Old!

Isn't she just sweet?
A picture with all the babies, furry ones too!

Lila is one month. Wow, that went fast! We really enjoy out sweet baby and watching the "big" girls get to know her! Lila got to take her first trip to Watkins for dinner at Aunt Jo, Uncle Ken and Tracy's! The Easter Bunny came early for Clara and Nora, so they were very excited to play with toys and eat candy!

Scrub - A - Dub

Nora gets a nightly bath. She loves the tub! I snuck in to take some pics!

Loving Lila

One of the most often asked questions I get is "How are the girls taking to the new baby?" Well, let's just say Lila is loved. I thought for sure Nora would not even notice a new baby in the house since she is so young. Was I wrong! Nora has become quite the little mother. She is always concerned about Lila. Does she have her hat? Does she have a blanket? Does she need a paci? If she is fussing, she wants to pick her up. She loves to hug and kiss her. Clara also adores her. She wants to see her and love on her. Clara likes to help give her a bottle and kisses her head quite a bit. Lila is loved!

The Three E's...

The First E: EASTER BUNNY! We went and saw the Easter Bunny on Tuesday with our friends, Lyndi and Mackenzie and Leslie and Jake. So funny. Clara was so excited and ready to hop on his lap, Lila could care less and Nora was not having any of it. I bought the over priced pictures (I will try to scan later...) and I am in it with a very upset Nora on my lap, while the Bunny held Lila and Clara sat proundly next to him!

The Second E: EMPOWERED! Today I took all three girls all by MYSELF to the Outlet Mall to Stride Rite to get the girls some shoes. It went pretty well. I was so proud that I was able to take three kids with my two hands anywhere, especially shoe shopping!

The Third E: EXHAUSTED! I cannot believe how tired I am. No one is sleeping. Clara and Nora have been up the last two nights for various reasons. Of course Lila is up also. She gets the burps pretty bad, followed by the hiccups, so right now I feel like she is up for quite sometime. Brian is on Clara/Nora duty, but I still wake up (most of the time) I am not much of a napper, but I am to the point where I could really use one. Badly. I mean so bad it hurts. I just try to keep telling myself that the days are long and the years are short, but I think this my be a longer year then most.
