First Mani/Pedi, On the Go and Smiles!

The random title is just our little weekly update! I took Clara to the local nail place with me for the first time last week. She had her nails and toes painted. She picked a shimmy purple and had little flowers painted on her thumbs and big toes. Nora has discovered the fun car. She loves getting in and out and scooting all over! Lila is lots and lots of smiles these days! She gives us huge grins! We love it!!

Lack of posting...

I have not posted a whole lot...Lila has decided that she would really liked to be held. Earlier today, as Clara was at her second to last day of school and Nora and Lila were napping I thought I would get a few minutes to catch up and then Lila started to fuss. The second I picked her up, she stopped. She just wanted to snuggle on Mommy. I guess I could not argue with that. So I watched Grey's Ananotmy while she napped! Oh well!

Yeah for spring!!

Ahh....spring! It is officially Roly-Poly season and the neighborhood girls are on a hunt! Clara loves to dig in the dirt to find them and then fill the bug catcher with grass for them to eat. Nora is loving playing outside also! She has really discovered the backyard! Lucy and Linus are even thankful the sun is shining and the grass is no longer covered with snow!

Two Months!

Can you believe it???? I can't! Our little Lila Bean so such a sweet baby! She loves loves loves to be held and snuggled with. She is very alert and loves to look all around. She is quite the little grower! She is bigger then both Clara and Nora. Here are her stats:

Height: 22 in (50th percentile)

Weight: 10 lbs, 12 oz (50th percentile)

Head circumference: 15.25 in (50th percentile)

(Just a comparison, Clara was 8 lbs, 1 oz and Nora was 8 lbs, 14 oz at two months!)

This is the season for birthday parties! Last week we went to four!! On Saturday, Clara went to Addison's at Jack and Jill Salon. The girls got to decorate a princess crown, wear a tutu and have a little hair and make up makeover. This was Clara's first time wearing make-up. She really liked the shiny star they put on her little cheek! This is a picture that Kim took. So fancy!

Our little sick baby!

About 10 days ago, Nora had a little runny nose. That was a Saturday. I told Brian that I just knew Nora would be in the doctor's office by Thursday with an ear infection. Sure enough, she woke up on Thursday in a very very grumpy mood. I took her in, ears were bad, got her her meds and all was well......or so I thought! That night, she got sick while sleeping. She continued to get sick and fever all morning. Back to the office for another visit. Since she could not keep her anti-biotics down, she had to have a nasty shot. She also got some Zofran for the vomiting. She has not been 100% yet. Yesterday she got sick AGAIN and so back we went today!! Poor baby...rotavirus, which can last up to a WEEK!! Her ears are still not all better and if the oral antibiotics don't make it better by today, she will have to have another shot tomorrow. Poor little one!

Update!! She went for an ear check today and they were better....no shot for Nora! Let's hope this is the end of the doctor visits since it is getting nicer out!
