Her birthday was filled with SO much fun! She woke up on Sunday and opened presents from us. Her and Clara got stick unicorns to play with. I have learned that life is much easier when we own two of something! Then we relaxed during the day. Her big party was at 4 PM at Romp and Roll with over 20 friends! Everyone had so much fun! Lyndi and Debbie had helped the night before with the cake and cupcakes and Nana brought cookies. All the treats were so good! After the party, we went to Red Robin with the family (aunts, uncles, cousins, Gram, Papa, great-grandparents...) What a fun a special day! Happy Birthday Nora...we love you very much!

Happy 2nd Birthday Nora Lee!
Miss Nora Lee turned two on Sunday! TWO! I cannot believe it! She is so much fun! She is talking and talking and talking! She is proud to tell you that she is going to be a bumble bee for halloween (when you ask her how old she is...) She will then go on the tell you "Didi" (Lila) is going to be a flower and "Sissy" (Clara) is going to be a ladybug. She copies everything her big sis is doing and loved to love on her baby sister. She is just the most perfect middle child! She is going through a phase where she wants to take all sorts of fun things to bed, including, blankie, Elmo, Honey, a drink, a small pillow, Little Einstein figures, books, baby dolls, bottles for the baby dolls, and whatever else she has deemed important that day. How she sleeps with all of that, plus her little self (which is 22 pounds and 34 inches long) in her bed is amazing!

Sew, Sew, Sew...
is something I DO NOT do! Scrapbook, yes. Give me some pictures, some paper and a couple of punches and I can come up with something pretty quickly! Give me a needle and thread, and you can forget it. I think it has something to do with the fact that in seventh grade, I sewed my finger in home ec class, with a sewing machine. All the way through my little pinky! Never touched one of those machines again! So when my neighbor Chance showed up to a birthday party with her daughter in the cutest pumpkin shirt and she claimed it was so easy, I thought yeah, right. I will be heading to Old Navy to pick up some already done shirts. Then my other neighbor Lyndi said that she was going to try it and she had the material....hmmmm......two of my girls already had black long-sleeved shirts.....next thing I know, I am at Lyndi's making pumpkin shirts for my girls. I cannot take any credit for the sewing. I left that to Lyndi (thanks, friend!). I did however, cut and used some fabric glue and even used a needle and thread to sew on some green ribbon. And here they are...so cute! Thanks Chance for the idea!
