Silly Bandz

The lastest craze is Silly Bandz.  These little bracelets are shaped in various forms (unicorns, robots, food, animals, etc. ) and come in all colors and some even glow in the dark!   Funny how once you leave the bubble of private preschool and move to pulic kindergarten, your child becomes into a fad!  The kids wear these to school and then trade with friends.

Traveling Through Time

This past weekend we participated in the second annual neighborhood Porch Crawl! So fun...the theme this year was decades with a traditional progressive dinner!

We started in the 20's hosted by the Arnoldis& Hastings at the Speakeasy Bar with deviled eggs, fruit salad, paper dolls, Lincoln Logs, Coke in a bottle and jumprope!

Next stop: The 50's, hosted by the Phams, Bories and Franckowiaks complete with a jello mold salad and chicken salad on crackes. Fuzzy Astronauts were the drink, and old fashioned candy, hula hoops and sunglass deocorating for the kids!

Third stop:  The 70's, hosted by the Smiths, St. Onges and Larsons!  Pet rocks for the kids to decorate, Harvey Wallbangers and roasted veggies made this stop complete!

On to the 80's!  We hosted along with the Dutchers and Guesses!  We served up Where's the Beefwhiches, Doritos, Pretty in Pink Lemonade and Amaretto Sours!  We played the cake walk game to some very fun 80's music to earn Silly Bands.  We dressed the part and had a blast doing so!  Easy to do with the recent trends now!   You can really find all of this at Target!

The Lynch Mob...the girls are wearing t-shirts with screened suspenders, black tutu skirts and leggings!
A Lemondae Stand...get it???
The Montley Crue!

The final start was to the future, hosted by the Babcocks, McDoniels and Montanos!  They served up ice cream and kids made silly putty!  Good times had by all!!!

Nora Goes to PreSchool!

Finally! Poor Nora has been asking for a month (since Clara started school) when she was going to get to go and today was the big day!! She is now in the Teddy Bear class two days a week! She was a bit nervous at drop off, but got busy playing as soon as we got there! We are proud of our little miss!

Labor Day

Labor Day we headed two doors down for a BBQ at the St.Onges.  They had quite the set up: a bouncy house, lots of toys, good food, Hawaiin Punch, sidewalk chalk and to complete the day, the kids decorated rocks with glitter and glue!

Who has been drinking hawaiin punch?

JUMP!

Lila and Gracyn enjoying a tea party!

Belleview Park

For the last weekend of summer, we snuck in a day at Belleview Park with the Borie Bunch!
We enjoyed:
Riding the train
Petting lots of cute animals
Having a picnic lunch
Playing in the stream

18 Months

Our baby girl is now a year and a half!  Hard to believe it went that fast, but really can't recall life before we had Lila!  Lila is a happy, strong-willed, toddler who will follow her sisters anywhere!  She is the most observant child I have.  She watches and notes what everyone is doing and does not miss a beat (If Clara and Nora get more M and M's then her, she will let you know!)  She is also the toughest!  She falls down, gets right back up and keeps going!  Her knees can be bleeding, but she does not want to miss a beat!!

At her 18 month appointment, she weighted 19.3 lbs (3%) and measured 32 inches tall (50%).  She is a Lynch girl!

She says quite a bit. Some words she has:  help, backpack (my favorite) more, milk, apple, banana, cheese, belly, nose, shoe, ball, mama, dada, woof-woof, neigh, meow, moo, shhhh, sis (she tired to say Clara and Nora, both hard...) lina (Linus), Lu (Lucy), Papa, mine, nite-nite, hi, bye, all done, please, thank you, up, down, diaper, outside, red, uh-oh, all right, and we are adding to the list each day!  Such a fun and growing age!

She loves to color, run while being chased, play outside, help with the laundry and snuggle.

We are sure blessed to have this little one in our life!
