Happy Birthday Mr. Lynch!

Brian turned 35 this past Saturday!  The girls were beside themselves with excitement.  I think they said Happy Birthday Daddy about 1000 times!  On Saturday, we went to breakfast and then Brian was treated to a massage.  That evening we got a sitter and went to Sushi with the Bories and Phams...pics to follow as I did not bring my camera.  Then on Sunday, we went to Old Chicago's and got cake to sing to Daddy since the girls insisted!

Lila is not in the picture because she was in her seat, ready to be served!

Happy Halloween!

Wow, halloween has become a downright event!  I must say we get our money's worth out of the costumes!   This year, Clara and Nora decided what they would be and I picked Lila's.  I figured this would be the last year, so I was sure to do something extra sweet!
We started the halloween season by wearing costumes to gymnastics the Monday before halloween.  Then the girls helped me put together a last minute neighborhood party, complete with crafts, rice crispy deocrating and some limbo.  Then Nora and Clara both had parties at school.   Lila and I went to see Nora in her parade and sing some spooky songs and then that afternoon, I went to Clara's school for her fun party.  The girls got another wearing on Saturday when Brian took them to the Wildlife Museum Trick or Treat off the street (no camera was taken...)  Costumes back on that night for the neighborhoold party...Brian and I dressed up in some old collage gear!  Sunday was the grand finale of dressing up with a great night of Trick or Treating with friends!

Eight Years...

and time is flying!  Who knows what the next eight have in store!

My Pumpkin Peeps

Last weekend we headed to a pumpkin fest in Castle Rock...the girls took in the hay maze, animals, a horse drawn carriage ride and pumpkins.  Then we headed to the church by our house which always has great photo ops and good pumpkins.  Each girl got to pick one out.  Clara picked a unique red, bumpy one.  Nora searched and searched and finally settled on a huge one.  Lila liked the little one that she could carry.  I picked a "cinderella"  Our porch is already for fall!

Yipee!! Nora is Three!!

Nora turned three on Monday!  It was a celebration extravaganza!  She started the party on Friday by taking cookies to class.  She got a fun birthday hat.  On Sunday, she finally got her Chuck E Chesse's party that she has been talking about since Clara  had her fifth birthday party there.  She was joined by her friends with playing, pizza and a Mickey and Minnie mouse cake.  Then on Monday, she woke and opened presents from us and then off to gymnastics.  That evening, Daddy brought her flowers home (Clara, Lila and I also got flowers) and then we headed to Red Robin to celebrate with the family!  What a great birthday!
At three, Nora is 25 lbs and full of fun!  She says some funny little things like "that's strange"  or "yesssss" when she is happy about something.  She is learning to write her name and had the N and O and is just about there with the R and A.  However, the O is not an O, but rather "circle"  She loves her sisters.  When we get Clara from the bus, she races to the door so she can greet her with a hug.  She loves princesses and Micky Mouse and friends.  She loves the color blue and her light up shoes.  Her favorite animal is the monkey.  At night time, I go in and we do a nose kiss, which then leads to a cheek kiss, an arm kiss, an elbow kiss, a toe kiss, and so on.  She can also get as mad as a hornet and put out some serious temper tantrums.   Brian and I are taking a Love and Logic class.  I think we should bring video.  It is hardley even believable.  I have just no idea where she gets that from...ha ha.  Overall, we feel blessed to have this little energetic, funny, smart and loving (and leg kicking, screaming, head spinning) girl in our lives!!
