Winter Wonderlights!

Each year we go to the Winter Wonderlights.  We made a last minute decision to go this past Saturday evening since the weather was so nice.  It was still chilly, but not awful (like we have had in the past!)  We picked up some hot chocolate on the way and the girls loved all of the lights!  We also got to see Prancer and Dancer and a cute version of Santa's workshop!   Inside, the girls wrote letters to Santa and we watched the original version of The Grinch!

A Whole New Look

This post is way overdue.  Last month, Joe redid the floors in the girls bathroom.  During the summer he had put in new counters.  He also changed out the lights and did a little backsplash too!  Brian painted Lila's bath the same green as the stripe in her room.  It looks so good!

Christmas Concerts and Programs!

Last week, Clara performed in two Christmas concerts through the Children's Choir at our church.  They sang two songs and she did a great job!  Her face was so animated!  She looked like she really enjoys singing.

You can barely make out Clara's face between the heads!

On Friday, Nora and Lila had their Christmas program at their pre-school!  It was so cute!  Both girls sang all of their songs and it was so fun to watch them!  Both had been practicing at home and it mush have really paid off!  This year I had front row seats, thanks to Lyndi for saving some!

Spongy

My kids' imagination always amazes me!  A while back, I went to a tile store with Joe and he needed sponges for an upcoming project.  The girls fell in love with the sponges, but Nora's passion has seemed to stick.  She carries "Spongy" around like a lovey.  Who knew at 99 cent item could be so fun!  Odd, but fun!

Dinner with Friends

Every year we do an ornament exchange and dinner with our dear friends, Heather, Joel, Austin and Colin Lucius.  This year we had soup and salad at their house and dinner at our house since we both have new houses!  These were the only pictures taken!  The kids had a great time and so did the parents!!

Mele Kalikimaka

Our annual family progressive dinner was last weekend.  The theme this year: Hawaiin!  So fun and festive.  The theme was perfect because we woke up on Saturday to snow falling.  We decided to ditch the progressing and just bring everything to the P's house.  We had yummy food and drinks!

36

I turned 36.  Crazy to me.  I still feel 26.  I got some wonderful new lamps from The P's, The GP's, The Vincents and The Cauldrills.  Love them! I was wanting something with color and a bit bigger.   Brian got me a card holder that hangs so I can display all of my Christmas cards.  The girls sang to me and made me lovely handmade cards (my favorite!!)
