Soaking Up Summer!

Oh, saying goodbye to summer is hard!  I have really enjoyed my time with the girls this summer.  We have done so many fun things and it seemed the time just flew by!  We had some things we wanted to squeeze in before school!  One was the zoo with the Eggemeyers!  So much fun!  We got the membership, so we will be back!  

We also spent a morning at storytime and then the fountains with Amy and her son John Michael.  Another fun one!

Last weekend we headed to Pirates Cove.  This is my only picture.  Didn't bring a camera and kept my phone away from all the water fun!  

DIVE!

This summer the girls have been taking swim lessons and they have really come along way!  Clara actually jumped off the diving board without a floatie or a life jacket!!  She then did some great strokes to the edge.  YEAH!!  I think she will be doing swim team next summer!  

On the last day of fun swim day at Abbie's pool, Nora got the courage to jump with her life jacket!  Good job Nora!!!!!

Even Lila was willing to take the plunge into the 12 ft water!  Go Lila!!

And of course a huge thanks to my sweet friend Abbie!  You can see her treading water in that 12 ft pool to give my girls the security to do it!  Love her!

BIKE!!

One day recently Brian and I noticed that both Clara and Nora were too big for their bikes!  Luckily Clara's bike was a blue My Little Pony, so Nora was happy to get it passed down.  Lila had a little Barbie bike that was falling apart, so she happily took Nora's princess bike and then we headed to get Clara a new bike.  She was very particular about what words were on the bike and the colors, but after two stores, we found the perfect one!  Here is everyone on their bikes!!

Belleview Park!

Belleview Park is one of the best parks on this side of town!  A petting zoo, train, and stream keep the girls busy!  Our friends, the Eggemeyers joined in the fun!  Anna and AJ loved it all too!  Can't wait to go back!!

AG

The girls have been on an American Girl kick since we visited the store in July.  The girls change their dolls in to jammies each night, clothes in the morning and they go with us every where. Pictured is Clara with Kanani, Nora with "Little Julie" (she is a minuature version of Julie) and Lila with Bitty at the movies.  Nora's Kaya is currently at the AG hospital, having her leg strings replaced. She was shipped out in a hospital gown and will come back in her gown, with a hospital braclet and certificate of good health (all for the small fee of $40...that is just about a copay!!)  

Butterfly Pavilion

We headed to the Butterfly Pavilion and met up with the Bielman's!   Marigny has two boys and oh.my.goodness.  Boy moms have my up most respect!  Those two little guys ran her all around that place!! My girls were content on looking at every detail of every butterfly.  Of course, I know the tables turn in 10 years when I have three emotional, sensitive, and very knowing teenagers, but for now, wow!  

Our American Girl doll, miniature American girl doll and Bitty Baby have been everywhere with us for the last couple of weeks!

Greyrocks!

I love Greyrocks!  The water is clean and warm and the beach is more sand then mud.  The bugs were minimal and the weather was great!  Fun times!!

Autumn and Danny brought the best lounging raft ever!   Kid entertainment for hours!  

Uncle Nick is the official water fun guy! 

These two always set up buckets with some kind of pretend animals living inside and it keeps them busy for hours!

No real campfire were allowed.  Luckily we had one Papa made the girls for their dolls!

The girls all tried to water ski starting in the water.  Nora wanted to go first, then Clara.  Of course Lila piped up and wanted to go to.  Brian stayed in the water.  No one was able to stand up, but I love their effort!
