More Lynch Girl Bling!

Clara is my cautious child, so I have to admit, after seeing Nora get her ears pierced, I was 99% positive Clara just would never want to do it.  She knew it would hurt and she, like me, avoids pain at all costs (ask me how many flu shots I have had...)  So much to my shock, she woke up Saturday and declared that she was ready.  I asked if she was sure, did she want to wait until Tuesday...nope, as soon as possible.  So the appointment was made for Saturday afternoon and she could not wait!  When we got there, she picked out some pink and gold studs and sat in the chair.  She was a bit nervous and cried after for a second, but recovered quickly!  She looks so cute!!

Lila immediately pointed to her ears and said "mine??"  so stay tuned....I may need Daddy to be there to help for that one!

Before the big moment!

Very cute!

Treehouse Discovery

There's a new play place in town...so of course we had to go check it out!  It has a huge indoor play structure, plus all kinds of activities to do and toys to play with!  We met up with the Dutcher girls there and a good time was  had by all!

The slide on the left goes SO FAST!  All of the girls loved it!

Lila and Claire (who is no longer "Baby Claire" but rather "Little Girl Claire") played with toys  together!

We were treated to a puppet show by the big girls!

Pig Tails!!!

one of my favorite looks...

Cowgirls!!!

We took our little cowgirls to the stockshow...

They met Cam the Ram...go CSU!

Clara rode the pony!

Nora rode the pony!  Lila said she wanted to ride the "neigh-neigh" but once she was on, she wanted OFF!  We took her off and then once the girls started to go, she sadly wanted to be on also.  So hard to be so little and want to be so big!

They rode the train!  This time Lila wanted to ride, but only if Daddy did too!  Brian is a good sport, even though he said he felt a bit like Buddy, the Elf!

They sat on a HUGE horse, which we thought was free, but sadly needed a ticket once we got up to the front of the line.  Of course no sign was posted, so this is our $10 horse visit.

Lila's turn at being a big girl!

We have been talking about using the potty for the last six months with Nora and I guess Lila was listening!  Just before Christmas she stated she needed to use the potty and has been doing it pretty much ever since!  She has had the occasional accident when she is super busy playing, but she mostly runs around bare bottomed because she is loves to run in and use the potty.   She even had us stop on our way to the stockshow!  I haven't had to change a poopy diaper in weeks and I am loving it!  By the way, Nora finally got over her fear of poop in the potty, so she is now an official big girl too!!

What Lila Needs at Bed Time

This can change each night, but one night last week was quite interesting...some things to notice...
  • She loves her "el-pow" which is her pillow. She likes the little one that matches her bedding.
  • Yes, she is wearing her snowboots and insisted they stay on, even later that night when she woke up thirsty, she needed her "booooots" on.
  • She wanted the Broncos football in bed with her.
  • She still loves Minnie and Elmo and they both need to be in the bed.
  • The red blanket is called "ninnie" and it has Mickey Mouse ears on it.  Funny where the blanket come from...when we first got Linus as a little puppy, that is the blanket he came to us with.  It has tons of holes.  It has always been in the kennel in the garage until recently, I pulled all the blankets out of there to wash, and the Mickey blanket was discovered and has been loved by Lila ever since.  Thank goodness for the hot cycle on the washing machine!

I'll have what she has!

On Saturday I put Clara and Nora's hair in a ponytail with a head band.   I had done Lila's hair first with her usual little pony on the top of her head.  She wandered off, only to be found in my bathroom looking for a head band and a pony holder to pull her hair back too!  I love how observant she is and wants to do what her big sissies are doing!
