Zoo!

We had a great spring break! We visited the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, visited with lots of friends, went to the Wildlife Museum and the zoo. I only took pictures from the zoo. We really had a wonderful spring break!!

Abbie gave the girls a ton of beanie babies earlier in the week. Clara brought a lion and Nora brought a bat. Here we are visiting the lions...

And here is Nora visiting the bats, with her bat! (Yes, a bit odd for her to fall in love with a bat, who she called Batty all day...she keeps us cracking up!)

Uncle Ken

Uncle Ken passed away last Thursday after a battle with lung cancer. He was such a great, kind and generouse man. I spent much of my childhood at Aunt Jo Jo and Uncle Ken's house in Watkins. Some wonderful memories! He will always hold a special place in my heart. Wewill miss you, Uncle Ken!

St. Patrick's Day!

Clara was convinced a Leprechaun was going to pass though our house the night before St. Patrick's Day. Se we set a trap! Using a box and a stick, plus come pennies and pictures to lure him in, we were all set!

When we woke up, no Leprechaun, but he did leave behind some quarters and cookies...and a huge mess! He turned the chairs around, dumped toy bins, put the stools on the counter, turned the candlesticks upside down, threw the blankets all over and various other little things!

Maybe a little disappointed there was not a magical leprechaun in the trap!

Later that day, all dressed in green, my little lassies enjoyed a green Popsicle!

Dress Up!

Swim Lessons!

We started swim lessons! Nora is now in the big girl class and Lila and I are doing the Mom-Tot. Everyone loved it! Clara loves to swim and Nora did just fine in a class on her own. Lila was the funniest. She was ready to go under water the first five minutes!!

Sundays are FUNdays!

After church Clara asked if we could go to her school to play on the playground. Clara is my cautious child and was nervous about doing a few things on the equipement and wanted to practice (without all the kids watching) Don't blame her! Nora and Lila had fun too, and we have even been back since!

This was what Clara was scared to do! She mastered it very quickly! Just needed Daddy to spot her first!

Goodbye, Friends!

Last weekend, our dear neighbors moved to Ohio. We were very sad to see them go! We have been very blessed to have them live so close! We have made many fun memories over the years! I went through some old pics (very thankful for digital!) and posted some new to remember lots of good times. We will miss you Kim, Tom, Addison, Reagan and Gracyn!
