Hurry up summer!

We bought a new camper!!   We loved the pop up, but the potty situation was bad.  We were using a camp potty.  At the end of last summer, the girls declared they did NOT want to go potty in a trash bag anymore.  I agreed!!  So I have been on the hunt for what is called a hybrid trailer.  It is a hard shell trailer, but the beds fold out, so the trailer weighs quite a bit less!  I found this one on Craigslist on a Friday afternoon at a GREAT price.  I called the owner and we chatted about how she had four kids, who were getting older and they needed something bigger.  When I told her we had a pop up she said they had one first also.  She told me she would be able to show it the next day from 12 to 2 at the place it is stored.  Brian was leaving town the next day at 4 am.  I told the very nice lady that and that I may or may not be able to buy a camper without my husband seeing it.  She told me she hoped to see me and gave me the address.  Ten minutes later, she called back and offered to meet me Friday night so Brian could see it, so off we went.  We met her after dark and looked it over with flashlights and bought it on the spot!  You have to move fast on a great deal!!!

We are so excited for the flushing potty!  Bring on summer!!!

Here the photos from Craigslist:

January, Part 2

I guess I am just not that into blogging lately.  Too busy, to tired.  Between running the girls around everywhere, dealing with homework, keeping up on the household, and tutoring Sunday through Thursday for two hours a night, this is just not a priority.  So here is the second half of January!

Clara had a day off of school, while the other two had school.  A nice treat to have lunch with her!

Lila and Bitty in matching dance outfits!

Our sweet Lucy turned 10!!

Nora went to a painting party.  She created a beautiful owl!

Western Day!

I took a weekend and scrapbooked with Char.  We worked on a book for Lester .  We stayed at a hotel.  Brian sent me this picture of the girls at IHOP.  He is so brave!

Rollin' Into 2013

Clara has been asking to go roller skating, so we decided that New Year's Eve was a great day to go!  We had so much fun, once we got the right skates on Nora and Lila.  Both needed the locked skates to save Brian and I a costly chiropractic bill!

From there, we headed home.  We picked up a Lynch family tradition of having crackers and Easy Cheese and spelling out the year on the crackers!  We also had pizza and played Wii (well, I layed on the couch with a cold...)  Usually, we toast the new year early, but Clara can tell time, so we did a count down around 9 pm, but Nora and Lila to bed and then Clara stayed up with Brian while I dozed on the couch until midnight!!  Fun!!

Whippped Cream shots!

Butterfly Lights

We met up with the Wargin girls for dinner and the Butterfly Lights at the Butterfly Pavilion.  So much fun!!  The girls loved the lights and the company!
