August Part 1

We wrapped in summer in so many fun way!!!!  A trip to the American Girl Store, Dinosaur Ridge and Watkins to see Aunt Jo before our final camping trip kept us busy!

Nora was in her second play, Once Upon a Time.  She played Cinderella!!  We were so proud of her!  She is a natural!!

So much support for this sweet girl!!  XOXO

Final camping trip to Lake Hattie.  The girls loved the jet ski and the mud!  What a perfect combo for a kid!!   We are so lucky to get to spend time with each other and our family and friends over the summer having a blast!!

Camping in July

Camping is our favorite summer pastime and we took two trips in July!  The first was Jellystone...a long time favorite!

We took a fun hike and even missed a turn, so it was a little extended.   Lucy was SO tired from it.  The next day I tried to take her near where the trail started and she would not go near it!

Relaxing in the pool!

Mini golf

Sweet sweet cousins!!!!

The next weekend, we headed to Greyrocks Reservoir for sun, water, jet skis and boats!  So fun!  This was the trip of the Teenage Mutant Ninja costume.  Uncle Joe brought out his old Ninja Turtle costume to chase Beau around.  Beau then put it on to chase Joe around.  Late night at the campfire, Brian snuck away and put the costume on and came out of the dark and ninjaed Joe, a few times.   It was so funny!!  No pictures of that one....thankfully!

We even get cows at our site!

Betsy!!

July

My computer has quite a meltdown this summer and I mean a melt down.  Brian woke me up at 5 am about a burning smell.  After hunting around the house and outside, we found the source....my Dell desktop.  Sad day.  So I had to wait for Brian's new work computer to come in, so I am finally up and running on his old laptop.  With life so busy, the blog has taken a huge backseat, but I am going to try my best to catch up!

We had lots of fun in July!  Swimming, trips around town and friends kept us busy!!

Fourth of July weekend in AR

This year we decided to make our annual trip to Arkansas over the July 4th weekend.  We loaded in the car Tuesday afternoon, dropped Lucy and Linus at Papa and Gram's and we were on our way!  We made it to Salina, KS and then woke up Wednesday morning for the rest or our drive.  We arrived in Arkansas and the girls were immediately in Grandma and Grandpa's pool!

Ready for the long drive on Wednesday!

The day was the fourth!  We grilled at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  The girls spent more time in the pool!  Then we showered up and got ready to go downtown for fireworks!

COUSINS!

The next day we headed out to cross over The Big Dam Bridge that goes across the Arkansas River.  It was hot and long, but we were troopers and made it to the end.  Then we went to visit Virgina and then back to the house for pizza and of course, pool!   Once it was dark, the girls did some fireworks with Uncle Scott.  They were very excited!

We made it!

Saturday was our last day in Little Rock.  We spent the day hanging out, swimming and having fun.  That night we had dinner out and then off to bed for our super long drive on Sunday (we always go straight through going home!)

In the middle in Granny!
