Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day started on Thursday 2/13 with class parties for Nora and Clara (they were out of school on Friday)  Lila had her's on Friday!
After we picked up Lila from school on Valentine's Day, the girls got hair cuts and then we headed home for out usual heart pizza.  Papa and Gram stopped by with treats for the girls (ironically the same exact candy from Kings that I got the girls...weird!)  Then we headed to the AG store for the girls to pick out a little gift from us!  All in all, a great day!!

Soccer and such

We keep a pretty busy schedule!  This January and February were no different!  Clara and Nora participated in indoor soccer teams.  It was good practice!

Clara sold Girl Scout cookies for her Brownie troop!  Nora is also in Daisies, but they decided not to sell this year!

Clara participated in Battle of the Books for her school!  She read three books, Inside Out and Back Again, Charlotte's Web and Survivor!  She did a great job!

Lila is also in a ballet/tap class and has started practicing for her recital this June!  They are dancing to the most popular Let it Go!!

Children's Music Academy

After 3 1/2 years, Clara graduated from her music class!!  Her graduation included the kids playing songs together but also solos!  Clara did a fantastic job at Fur Elise!  We are so proud of her!  She loves music so much, she has decided to go on to the master's program for another year!!

Fun Days!

Nora and I had fun at the Wildlife on our Wednesday morning out!

Of course we had to make a trip over to AG to see the new Doll of the Year, Isabelle!

Western Day and Star of the Week

Lila has Western Week at school!  Go Cowgirl!!

Nora and Lila were both chosen as Star of the Week and had to make fun posters!  What fun to look at cute pics!!

My Ballerina

Nora started Jazz/Pom in November.  After the Nutcracker show, she told me she wanted to be in the Nutcracker someday and wanted to start ballet.  So she tried a ballet class at our studio and loved it.  So now she is doing two dance classes and loves it!  Here she is!  My little ballerina!

AG at the park

Ahh...Colorado!   You can be sledding one week and playing at the park the next!  Less than 12 days after sledding, the girls and I and dolls, went to the park for some fun!   My girls have a very elaborate American Girl Doll game going on at all times.  They have a rule that all three must be around to play and they can pause the game and put the game back into play at any time.  The dolls they own are their "kids" and they are the aunts to each other's dolls.  Brian and I are the grandparents.  The dolls are of all ages (some are old enough to be a teachers and others are in school)  It is always changing and growing and it really is my favorite thing they do.  They can play for HOURS!  I love the creativity and bonding the game displays among my daughters!
