Lots of Halloween Fun!

Halloween festivities started off on Thursday with a fun kid party at our house in the afternoon! It was a fun time with crafts, games, and cupcakes, especially since we had all been couped up with the big snow!
Friday night was the annual neighborhood Halloween party, hosted by the Hastings this year. I went as a Roly-Poly. Brian went as a little girl with a bug catcher around his neck. We had a lot of fun since we decided to have a sitter watch the kids play in the basement, while the adults played upstairs! We had a ton of fun!
On Halloween, we passed the day with carving a pumpkin. The girls loved it and has so much fun with "Pumky" That afternoon, we hopped over to the Wades for some snacks and games and then the P's came over to see the girls in costume (and brought dinner....thanks P's!!)
Then for the big trick or treat fun! Clara knew what to expect, but this was a whole new world for Nora. She was thrilled to be getting candy and all she had to do was say "Trick or treat" She kept saying "that house mama" even if the lights were off. The girl knows that when opportunity is knocking, you better answer! Clara was so excited to get home and see what she got. The girls did pretty well!
